Reverse Osmosis Water Filter Questions

Why are Reverse Osmosis Systems better than regular drinking water systems? |
|
Reverse Osmosis Systems reduce dissolved solids such as sodium (salt), copper, nitrates, and more from your drinking water. Regular drinking water systems reduce many contaminants and sediment but they are unable to reduce dissolved solids. The membrane in the RO System is the part that is able to reduce dissolved solids. The membrane is the most expensive part of the RO System to replace but usually only needs to be replaced every two to three years depending on the amount of dissolved solids in your drinking water. |
